Grouping pertaining to Luftwaffe Ritterkreuzträger Oberleutnant Erich Weißflog, Weißflog began his military career as Obergefreiter in 1940 with the “Shark’s Gruppe” of II./Zerstorer-Geschwader 76 and later became Eichenlaubträger Joachim Jabs’ radio operator, in 1944 Weißflog served as the communications officer with Nachtjagd-Geschwader 1., the group consists of Weißflog's awarded Ritterkreuz, an 800 marked Steinhauer and Lück A-type, the cross exhibits service wear and has Weißflog's name scratched into the paint on the reverse side, the cross includes a section of the neck ribbon with fittings for service wear, further included is the document promoting Weißflog to Kriegsoffizier, a Beurteilung (performance report) signed by Jabs and approved by Ritterkreuzträger (then) Major Helmut Lent, the preliminary RK award document dated June 1944, Weißflog's Wehrpass denoting the award of the Ritterkreuz as well as the Frontflugspange für Jäger in Gold m. Anhänger, finally there is a signed RK portrait of Weißflog signed by him on the reverse as well as a signed portrait of ELT Jabs dedicated to Weißflog and signed by Jabs on the reverse, wonderful group the history of which will be provided to serious inquiring parties, USD $22,500 WITHDRAWN
