VirtualGrenadier is a non-political informational and commercial web site devoted to documenting the appearance of the German soldier 1939-1945 through the use of period photographs, by showcasing examples from private collections, and by offering original examples for sale. The site is intended for use by researchers, archivists and collectors of historical military memorabilia. This site carries no affiliation whatsoever with any political ideology. Drillich four pocket blouse for Luftwaffe Feldwebel, constructed of green HBT weave cotton and with minimal lining components of green rayon, piece is stamped in black ink with sizes and has RBNr stamp on inner bandage pocket, with four external patch poskets, the upper pockets with the notched lower corners in the Luftwaffe pattern, the machine embroidered on wool national emblem is factory zig zag sewn, the blue painted metal pebbled buttons are held with S rings, the bandage pocket, cuff and collar liner buttons are the blue dished metal type and all are present, a matched pair of yellow piped slip on shoulder straps for a Fallschirmjäger Feldwebel are included, these have synthetic piping, metallic NCO tresse and one silvered rank pip each, this example was actually worn and exhibits some wear to the high spots, fraying of lining materials and some age yellowing, a rudimentary badge loop was added to the breast pocket but this is likely a collector addition, USD $1200 NEW PRICE
