Heer M44 service blouse for Panzergrenadier EM, standard issue blouse made of later quality brownish wool, partially lined in olive colored ribbed cotton with two large internal pockets made of the same material, clearly marked in black ink WB45 and with sizes, all pebbled buttons match but the front closure buttons have been moved from their original position to facilitate mounting the blouse on a torso or mannequin, cuffs are the type made to be folded back and each has a pressed paper button, insignia looks to be originally applied by straight machine stitching, a triangular shaped late pattern national emblem is machine sewn, the first type universal litzen collar patches are also machine applied and it is thought that these earlier pattern insignia were also used on these later garments as an expedient (as is sometimes seen with pre war national emblems used on late production Heer Panzer wraps), a matched pair of synthetically piped slip on shoulder straps are included, there are myriad loops on the left breast and although very well done these are likely collector added, excellent condition, no holes or repairs are seen, likely unissued, USD $1950 SOLD
