Paul Kaps made Luftwaffe officer 'crusher' style visored cap, body of blue grey wool, ribbed mohair cap band, silver metallic piping, lined in light grey artificial silk yellowed from age and wear, partial sweat diamond, maker mark and embossed logo under the sweat diamond, full leather sweatband is darkened from wear, rear portion may have been re-stitched but this appears to have been done during the war, original black finished pliable black leather visor, silver wire cap band is affixed with silver pebbled buttons held with prongs, bullion national emblem and wreath have been applied with different colored threads, cap exhibits moderate service wear and there is some slight fraying to the silver piping on the lower edges of the cap, the cap body itself is without holes or repairs, estimate about a 57, great looking cap and seldom found with leather visor, USD $3500 SOLD
