VirtualGrenadier is a non-political informational and commercial web site devoted to documenting the appearance of the German soldier 1939-1945 through the use of period photographs, by showcasing examples from private collections, and by offering original examples for sale. The site is intended for use by researchers, archivists and collectors of historical military memorabilia. This site carries no affiliation whatsoever with any political ideology. Unissued late issue Waffen-SS helmet cover, all panels are made of Oakleaf A but one side panel is different than the rest in that it has darker purple/brown and brighter green colors, foliage loops are Oakleaf on the spring side and Plane tree on the autumn side, the rocker clips are the aluminum purple anodized type and all are in excellent condition, the autumn side has Plane tree pattern coverings for the rocker clips, cover is stamped (several times) in purple colored ink size 1 and was photographed on a size 64 shell, perfect example, additional detailed photos are available, USD $5875 SOLD
