Excellent Luftwaffe Waffenrock for a Flak Obergefreiter, having an open collar that has the provision to be worn closed with a tab and button located under the collar, constructed of Luftwaffe colored blue grey wool and lined in ribbed blue grey cotton, with one internal pocket and stamped in black ink with sizes, maker information and L.B.A. (S) 39 in two different places, with two internal belt support straps at the inner hip, blouse with four pleated patch pockets and turn back cuffs, collar is piped in red twisted cord, collar patches are machine applied and aluminum rank gulls' prongs penetrate the collar, the machine embroidered national emblem is hand applied, with a matched pair of slip on shoulder straps having rayon piping, shoulder strap bridles are made of the same blue grey wool material, shoulder strap buttons are the smaller type and look to be originally applied, silver pebbled buttons are used throughout, the collar liner and bandage pocket buttons are the black composite type and all remain, the upper left sleeve has a hand applied rank chevron with machine sewn metallic rank tresse, there are loops for two badges and a two place ribbon bar is pinned directly to the fabric, there is some minor fading to the lining and one tiny stain at the lower inner left skirt, blouse is in excellent condition and without damage or repair, harder to find type, please inquire to info@virtualgrenadier.com for additional information and photos, USD $1400 SOLD
