Kriegsmarine officer's M40 type tropical cap, cap body of tan colored cotton, fully lined in flat green cotton, well marked with large RBNr, 6/43 date and size 58, with two ventilation grommets per side, with separate tropical pattern Kriegsmarine woven insignia, national emblem is tightly zig zag sewn and rosette is machine straight stitched, turn up has piping of golden yellow colored Russia braid, machine sewn, cap has been slightly worn and is a bit stained at the forehead but is in excellent condition, the under visor has a small stain, very nice service used example, USD $1800 SOLD
