The site is intended for use by researchers, archivists and collectors of historical military memorabilia. This site carries no affiliation whatsoever with any political ideology. YAU17 Pre war decorated service blouse in corduroy fabric for an Unteroffizier in a Heer Panzer or Panzerabwher unit, cut in the mid '30s style having a stand and fall dark green badge cloth collar, eight button front and lower slashed pockets, with two upper pleated patch pockets and turn back cuffs, two buttoned belt supports at the rear waist with full complement of silvered pebbled buttons, garment made of field grey colored corduroy and with lining of grey cotton, with internal belt and clasp and having provision for wear with dagger/sword, the blouse's front has rosa colored wool piping and the metallic woven litzen tabs have rosa colored bars and padded rosa colored bases, these are machine stitched to the collar, the early pattern darkened NCO tresse is machine sewn to the collar's upper edge and to the sewn in shoulder straps, each strap has internal stiffener and the numerals 3 hand embroidered in rosa colored cording to the dark green badge cloth base, the cord type piping has lost much of its original color giving a pale appearance, the flatwire on tan national emblem is machine applied to a field grey base which was then hand applied, there are loops for one badge an a 1939 EKI marked 62 is included, blouse shows service wear and age, there are no holes, tears or repairs but one rust colored spot at the lower right waist has been cleaned and the surrounding fabric is a bit brighter in this area, rare pattern, USD $1675 SOLD
