Full image - THIS ITEM IS SOLD

Service worn reversible Heer Sumpftarn pullover anorak, example printed in Sumpftarn pattern on cotton reversible to white, with integral hood and drawstring with hidden wind flap, drawstring of knotted white cord, with steel eyelets (one is loose on the drawstring), upper chest has three flapped pockets positioned horizontally, the outer two are pleated, each pocket flap is held closed with a pressed paper button, one pocket seam was repaired by machine using black thread but this is mostly evident from the white side, the waist has a tunnel for the drawstring which is accessible from the white side, the garment's lower edge is hemmed with a separate piece of fabric, each side's rear skirt has reversible pockets having buttoned pocket flaps with pressed paper buttons, each upper outer sleeve also has a pressed paper button, a reversible adjustable strap attached to the anorak's lower rear skirt was used for attachment between the legs, a small tag of camo material with the stamp 3 2 in dark blue ink is positioned at the lower rear hem, sleeve ends have tightening tapes of camo material with steel friction buckles, anorak was certainly service used and the camo side exhibits light soiling and wear, the mirrored white side shows rather more age and soiling due to its lighter color, other than the repaired pocket seam, no other repairs, holes or damage or noted, a most appealing example of what may be the rarest item of Heer camouflage clothing, USD $4050 SOLD
