Large size Luftwaffe M38 single decal Fallschirmjäger helmet, shell marked ET71, spanner type bolts, inner and outer shell as well as the spanner bolts are finished in the smoother textured grey green paint, the mostly pristine surface shows little sign of use with just a few of spots of darkened base metal showing in a couple of small spots and some fine scratches, the Luftwaffe lacquered decal rates about 100%, internally the leather liner has darkened and shows some scratches, the size markings 59/71 are readable, liner pads are the dark sponge type and the liner bands are steel, three of four of the inner spanner nuts show fine scratching, the grey leather chinstrap harness is complete with all fittings and is in very good condition, attractive example, USD $7000 SOLD
