Excellent matched pair of Luftwaffe issue tropical high boots, constructed of oilve colored canvas and with components of red brown colored leather, with stacked leather soles and heels, heels with iron horseshoes, soles with toe taps and full complement of nails, each soles is stamped 27 over 6, the inner calves are lined in an off white drillich material and are stamped in red ink 27 8640 14 with a large 5 stamped below in purple ink, the upper calve flaps are secured with brown leather straps held with a blued buckle, each strap extends from the ankle area through a slot and vertically along the upper inner calf to the top where it is buckled, the black laces are threaded through black enameled eyelets, the toes, heels and rear calf seams are covered in red brown colored leather, there are a few minor scuffs to the leather but little evidence of actual wear, first pair we have had, USD $3500 SOLD
