Excellent French made field service blouse for a Heer Großdeutschland Panzer Leutnant,, for armored or antitank officer, extra clean example with woven label from a Dijon based tailor, constructed of typical French ribbed field grey colored wool and lined in dark grey blue rayon, with two internal breast pockets, having a large waist closure hook with clasp, setup for wear with dagger or sword, blouse has a six button front, with four pleated patch pockets, dark green stand and fall collar and deep turn back cuffs, the collar has two sets of hooks and eyes, the bullion wire officer collar patches are machine stitched, the shoulder boards are firmly sewn in and the inner lining is undisturbed, each shoulder board has a gilt GD cypher and the prongs for each penetrate to the boards' undersides, the bullion wire national emblem is hand applied, the officer quality hand embroidered bullion wire on black sleeveband in Sütterlin script is neatly and carefully hand applied, the right breast pocket has a hand sewn cloth DKiG applied with grey colored thread, all insignia attachemnt threads are UV negative, there are loops for three badges on the left breast, an EKII ribbon is sewn to the second buttonhole, all of the high quality backed dark grey painted pebbled buttons are sewn with the same threads, the shoulder board buttons are the smaller type, tunic is in fantastic condition with little sign of age or wear, only the background of the DKiG shows slight age yellowing, crisp, USD $5500 SOLD
