Matched pair of collar patches for an SS-Brigadeführer, post '42 pattern, pair having seen service wear and showing light age and slight oxidation to sections of the bullion embroidery, hand embroidered onto black velvet fabric in silver bullion wire over card Unterlagen, having the distinct thin SS style twisted wire borders, the reverse of each tab has metal posts with washers and brass nuts affixed (one set of the eight washers and nuts is absent) indicating they could be removed for cleaning of the garment, after application of the posts the collar patches were sewn closed over the buckram backing using black cotton thread, attractive and rare, USD $3000 WITHDRAWN
