Complete set of service used reversible Heer Splittertarn winter suit, hood and set of mittens, padded jacket, trousers, hood and mittens printed on one side in splinter camouflage with the reverse side being white, coat with built in hood and white neck cord, having two flapped and buttoned hip pockets, front closure with wind flaps, having tie tapes at the waist, camouflage side has field grey painted pebbled steel buttons, the pebbled steel buttons on the white side are painted white, each upper outer sleeve has a pressed paper button for the application of identification bands, the accompanying reversible trousers have built in adjustable braces of white webbed material, the white side of the wind flap is stamped with maker information from the Reitz firm in Antwerp and size 1, there are two flapped hip pockets and these are closed with black painted pressed dished steel buttons, the leg ends have ties of HBT textured white tape, the matching hood has ear openings with felt inserts and full length grey HBT tie tapes, the mittens are connected with blue grey colored tape cords and one mitten is stamped with RBNr, the set was worn and shows a bit of soiling, particularly the white side, there is no damage with the exception of a small area to the rear waist of the trousers where the braces attached that has been gnawed by a rodent, otherwise there are no tears or repairs, USD $3000 SOLD
