VirtualGrenadier is a non-political informational and commercial web site devoted to documenting the appearance of the German soldier 1939-1945 through the use of period photographs, by showcasing examples from private collections, and by offering original examples for sale. The site is intended for use by researchers, archivists and collectors of historical military memorabilia. This site carries no affiliation whatsoever with any political ideology. Any visitor to this site does so with the understanding that it is strictly for the purposes of historical collecting and research as stated above.

Service used Luftwaffe splinter camo pattern Fallschirmjäger jump smock, printed in the distinct Luftwaffe pattern camouflage on a heavy ribbed cotton material, the splinter camo backed machine embroidrede national emblem is factory zig zag machine applied, all of the metal Zipp marked zippers are complete and functional and have their dark blue leather pull tabs, three of these being dark blue and one off white, with the exception of one male fitting to the lower skirt, all PRYM 6 snaps and poppers are present and functional, a few of these show darkened rust, the internal wind cuffs are complete with all fittings, all front closure blue grey glass buttons are present and originally sewn, internal lining components and drawstring tunnel are of grey blue rayon and the pockets are backed in rough textured whire cotton, waist drawstrings are made of a dark green colored HBT tape and are finished on the ends, all rear fittings are without damage or alteration, the rear pistol holster has two black plastic buttons, the smock is marked internally with RBNr, LBA and '44 date, smock shows light wear and some age yellowing from wear, there are ho holes, tears or repairs noted, solid piece, USD $9750 SOLD
