Wartime service blouse for an SA Sturmbannführer, believed to be for a staff member of the Oberste Sturmabteilung Führung (SA High Command), unit tab attribution unknown, elegantly tailored blouse is made of lighter weight brown colored trikot wool, having an open collar and the type worn with a pair of shoulder boards, having four patch pockets with the upper pair being pleated and with turn back cuffs, having finely pebbled silver buttons and two matching rear belt support buttons, the shoulder board buttons are sewn into place, lined in pale orange ribbed rayon and with an internal breast pocket, armpit shields are still in place, insignia includes a matched pair of deep salmon colored wool collar patches with silver twisted metallic piping, the unit tab with silver wire embroidery and the rank tab with four large zinc rank pips having aluminum prongs, the collar patches are hand stitched into place, the Sturmbannführer rank shoulder boards have the same deep salmon colored underlay with uppers of twisted silver metallic cord, the multi piece wool party armband is sewn down along its perimeter and the ends are sewn into the underneath sleeve seam, there are loops for two breast badges and a small ribbon bar (included), blouse has a few picks to the fabric and some minor light stains/spots, the armband shows some age and there are a few moth nips to the wool, not the typically encountered political tunic, USD $3500 SOLD
