Heer rubberized motorcycle dispatch rider's coat, constructed almost entirely of field grey colored rubberized canvas and stamped in red ink on an internal pocket bag with Rosenheim-based maker's information and sizes, with mesh internal shoulder yoke and internal adjustable waist belt, the large collar's outer surface is covered in field grey wool and the under surface has a large buttoning tab, there is a black painted steel hook and eye at the throat, coat is double breasted and has a large buttoning lapel, there is a separate rear waist belt and the rear skirt is vented and can be buttoned up, there are steel pebbled buttons held with rivets to the lower skirt to allow the sections to be fastened around the wearer's legs, at each outer waist is a large flapped pocket with button, each tapered cuff is adjustable and there are internal elasticized wind cuffs, there are loops and buttons for wear with slip on shoulder straps, coast was service worn and a bit stained and dirty from wear, a few small strips of the seam covering fabric at the armpits have become unglued, unlike many examples the rubberized fabric is completely sound and free of rot, difficult to find unaltered and undamaged, USD $1250 SOLD
