Excellent early issue Heer overcoat with dark green collar, standard issue Heer pattern with large collar, double breasted front, turn back cuffs, rear waist belt and vented skirt, constructed of fine early war quality field grey wool, lined in and having pocket bags of slightly contrasting shades of grey/tan ribbed cotton, stamped in black ink with maker information, sizes and H39 depot, the pebbled field grey painted steel buttons all match and are originally sewn, there is a buttoning tab underneath the collar close with horn buttons, a large horn button is positioned at the waistband to secure the inner flap, skirt is unhemmed, shoulder strap bridles and buttons are not installed but are included separately, condition is excellent, there are no holes, tears or alteration to the fabric but there are a few scuffs/light stains to the lower skirt most likely from the coat having coat having come into contact with the wearer's boots, almost impossible to find in this condition, USD $550 SOLD
