Perfect unissued second type Heer piped collar black Panzer wrap for an EM in Panzer-Regiment 1, garment body made of dense high quality black wool, lined and with pockets, belt hook support straps, tie tunnels and buttoning tabs of ribbed grey colored cotton, waist tie tapes are of a coarse white gauze like material, stamped in black ink with sizes and E.37 deapot, there is additional stamping 289 at the left shoulder ling, having four large black composite doughnut shaped buttons at the front closure and having smaller black composite buttons for closure of lapel, for fastening button tabs and with a pair at each cuff, all buttons remain and are originally and tightly sewn, cuff lining components are of grey and black ribbed cotton, with an black painted steel hook and eye at the throat, the large collar is piped in bright rosa colored wool, the Panzer collar patches are piped in the same material and each is factory machine straight stitched to the collar, each collar patch has an aluminum Totenkopf affixed with brass prongs which penetrate the collar, the second type white on black machine woven Panzer national emblem is originally and carefully hand sewn, the factory installed shoulder straps also have the same rosa colored wool piping and are originally machine sewn down, each shoulder strap has the numeral 1 embroidered by machine in the chain stitch fashion, the painted pebbled steel shoulder strap buttons were never installed (and wraps of this type are seen worn without buttons in period photos), the wrap is essentially without age, wear, alteration or any damage and is likely unworn, USD $9500 SOLD
