Unissued mid war issue overcoat for a Heer Infanterie EM, flawless standard issue Heer example with large collar, steel hook and eye at the throat, double breasted front, turn back cuffs, rear waist belt and vented skirt, constructed of mid war quality field grey wool, lined in and having pocket bags of light grey colored, stamped in black ink with RBNr and sizes, the pebbled field grey painted steel buttons all match and are originally sewn although the threads holding a few are a little loose, there is a buttoning tab underneath the collar closed with horn buttons, a large grey green colored glass button is positioned at the waistband to secure the inner flap, skirt is unhemmed as it should be, setup for wear with slip on shoulder straps and a close matched pair of mid war quality slip on straps is included, these have synthetic piping and ribbed cotton tongue reinforcing materials, condition is perfect and the issue paper tag is still applied with white cotton thread, as fresh as the day of manufacture, USD $1000 SOLD
