Luftwaffe single decal two tone spray camouflage helmet, shell stamped ET64, having steel liner bands and chafed but complete tan colored leather liner stamped size 57, the former owner's name is inked to the liner, with broken liner drawstring, complete chinstrap is maker marked and dated 1943, liner pins and washers are complete and firmly installed, the factory blue grey painted finish is over sprayed in red brown and dark green camouflage colors, the spray extends to the inner skirt, externally the brown and green colors cover most of the shell but in areas the base blue grey finish may be seen, the camo paint covers the Luftwaffe decal which appears completely intact underneath, there are scuffs and scratches to the paint but coverage is almost complete rating at 95% or better, a striking example, USD $2500 SOLD
