EM, very interesting example constructed similar to a Waffen-SS EM visored cap in that the cap band is made of black wool rather than the normal ribbed mohair, cap body of blue grey trikot wool, with extra high peak and having piping of white felt, the visor is lacquered pressed paper and has an edging of oilcoth, the patent leather chincord is also the SS pattern, lining is candy striped rayon, with full brown leatherette sweatband, the celluloid sweat diamond is without legend, it has a small missing piece on one corner, the silver washed zinc Luftwaffe eagle is attached by prongs that do not penetrate to the cap's interior, the aluminum wreath's prongs also do not penetrate, cap is in generally excellent condition, the piping's core is exposed in one area near the peak and the piping itself is slightly age yellowed, large size 59, very nice, USD $1500 SOLD
