Luftwaffe M38 Fallschirmjäger smock in Grünmeliert cotton twill, period modified with the addition of concealed pockets and flaps and with the provision to be buttoned up and gathered around the wearer's legs, further an equipment loop and pistol holder, the latter since removed, were added to the lower rear, smock has seen significant service use and displays several wartime repairs to the body, in addition, the national emblem has been removed, the upper zippers are missing and the cuffs show fraying to their lower edges, the front closure buttons remain as do all of the snaps (save one male snap on the skirt) and are without corrosion, markings illegible, please inquire for additional information, rare article USD $12,000 SOLD
