Named Heer M40 single decal helmet with originally installed issue camouflage net, shell stamped ET62, partial (?) lot number 28, former Obergefreiter owner's name is painted in white to the inner rear skirt, steel liner bands, pins are undisturbed and with their washers, the right liner pin is a little loose, leather liner with drawstring has a size stamping, a former owner's name, Otto, is penciled to the liner, the full length leather chinstrap was worn over the visor, the factory paint is almost completely intact and the pins have most of their paint, paint surface has light fine scratching and nice even patina, the Heer decal has a few chips but the swastika is strong, it would rate about 90%, the issue net is held into place with the two hooks attached to the chinstrap bales and with the ring being affixed to a wire hook affixed to the rear liner band, the net's form and wear are a natural mate to the helmets' shape and have been in place since the war, fantastic appearance, USD $3575
