Unique set of insignia, photographs and documents from a Großdeutschland Panzer soldier, includes an ultra rare pair of slip on shoulder straps for war on the black Panzer uniform, constructed of a black felt like material with black ribbed reinforcing materials used for the tongues, with rosa colored embroidered GD cyphers and synthetic piping, metallic tresse, straps are worn from service use and tresse is slightly oxidized, one shoulder strap has two aluminum collar tabs skulls pinned to it, also included is a silver wire embroidered sleeveband in Sütterlin script, it has been folded and measures 33cm in length, in addition, the former owner's EKII award document from April 1945 is also included, it is pen signed by Major General Mäder, last commander of the Führer Grenadier Division, twenty two photographs round out the group, eight of these are attached to a page removed from a photo album and show the former owner with comrades, wearing black GD Panzer uniform, with vehicles and so on, the balance of the photos depict owner as a youth, as a recruit, marching scenes, additional shots in Panzer uniform plus one shot of GD RKT wearing both GD and Afrika sleevebands, interesting group worthy of further study, rare, please inquire to info@virtualgrenadier.com for additional information and photos, USD $3650 SOLD
