Rare original issue service blouse for Unterscharführer from SS regiment Der Führer, pre or early war quality SS issue service blouse manufactured by Münchener Lodenfabrik, has been modified for use by removing the lower cargo pockets and by hemming the skirt, most likely to mimic the appearance of a pre-war M37 service blouse, the shoulders have been padded, blouse has a stand and fall badge cloth covered collar with two hooks, embroidered EM runic and rank tab are hand stitched to the collar, metallic NCO tresse is machine applied and overlaps the lower edges of the tabs, the rank tab's pip is the larger aluminum type with aluminum prongs which penetrate the collar, the early style slip on Waffen SS Infanterie straps show some slight oxidation to sections of the metallic tresse, the basket weave synthetic white piping is frayed in certain areas, the SS sleeve eagle is the 'hammerhead' variety and is machine zig zag sewn to the sleeve, the Gothic script RZM EM embroidered Der Führer sleevetitle is hand sewn to the lower left sleeve, insignia exhibits matching levels of wear and are considered to be period applied, the service blouse itself is only lightly worn but does have some insect damage to the left rear collar, the lower right skirt, the right sleeve, the left sleeve where it meets the sleeve eagle, as well as the upper and middle back, most of the holes measure .25 to .75cm in diameter, a rare opportunity to own an originally badged SS service blouse from one of the most famous SS regiments, please inquire to info@virtualgrenadier.com for additional information regarding origin, detailed photos plus price and payment options, quality trade items accepted, USD $15,000 SOLD
