Full image - THIS ITEM IS SOLD

Set of Fliegerbluse and overcoat for officer candidate in Division Hermann Göring, believed both garments belonged to the same individual as the officer's set offered separately, Fliegerbluse is a mid to later war example with lining components of blue artificial silk, blouse is well marked with sizes, RBNr and in large white characters on the lower inner skirt, there are four large black plastic front closure buttons and smaller buttons at the collar for the neck liner and at the cuffs for the wrist tightening straps, blue painted pebbled buttons are used for shoulder boards and pocket flaps, insignia consists of a machine embroidered Hermann Göring NCO sleeveband which is machine sewn to the sleeve, a factory zig zag sewn national emblem, a matched pair of wool piped slip on shoulder straps with metallic Luftwaffe style NCO tresse and two zinc rank pips, collar is piped in Luftwaffe style twisted silver wire as are the white wool or felt collar tabs which are machine sewn to the collar with stitching concealed between piping and the tabs' edges, there is a paper tag attached to the back side of the collar under strap, further included is a Luftwaffe marksmanship lanyard with one acorn and two separate buttons were installed for its proper wear, there are loops for three badges and a three place ribbon bar which is included, the overcoat is of earlier vintage and of a slightly higher quality wool, it is lined in ribbed blue cotton, markings are present but very faint, blue pebbled buttons are used throughout, small black plastic buttons are used at the rear skirt, a large blue glass button is used for the internal closure, collar tabs are applied in the same fashion as on the Fliegerbluse, the wool piped shoulder boards are sewn in and this appears to have been done by machine, the machine embroidered Hermann Göring NCO sleeveband (of a slightly different style) is applied in this case through neat hand application, condition of the Fliegerblouse would rate excellent to mint with the exception of some light aging to the collar tabs and some minor wear the sleeveband's underside, the overcoat shows a bit more use with some scattered mothing at the hem and a spot of insect grazing on the lapel, super set, please inquire to information@virtualgrenadier.com for additional photos and information, USD $5500 SOLD
