Nice set of Soldbuch and documents, including for Nahkampfspange, plus Erkennungsmarke for Heer Pionier Unteroffizier with service in Stalingrad and Kurland, with set of award documents for Wound Badge in Black, EKII, Sturmabzeichen, Nahkampfspange in bronze, Erkennungsmarke stamped 4./PZ.PI.ERS.BATL.19 and this matches the entry on page 1 of the Soldbuch, after training subject served with Pi.Btl.652, an independent Pionier unit and until Jan. '43 attached to the 6th Army and, for the greater part, destroyed at Stalingrad, subject was injured there on 4 Dec. '42 and evacuated, active on the Ostfront during the remainder of the war including Kurland, there is no Soldbuch award entry for the Nahkampfspange but a typewritten list of 17 close combat engagements is inserted, set shows a bit of wear but is intact, there is a piece of old cellophane tape on the Soldbuch's spine, E 925, please inquire to info@virtualgrenadier.com or see xe.com for current pricing in USD SOLD
