Elegantly tailored decorated service blouse for a Heer Major in Panzer-Regiment 1, blouse is tailored of a lighter weight grey green trikot wool and has four pleated pockets, turn back cuffs and stand and fall collar, the lower edge of the dark green collar, the blouse’s front closure and the upper edge of the turn back cuffs is piped in rosa colored wool, lining is of a green colored rayon and there is one internal pocket and provision for wear with dagger or sword, the silver backed pebbled metal buttons match and look to be originally sewn, the shoulder board buttons are the narrower diameter type, insignia includes silver bullion hand embroidered collar patches and are machine applied, shoulder boards are tightly sewn in, each board has a gilt numeral 1, the bullion national emblem is hand sewn, the blouse's left side has original loops for a long ribbon bar and four breast badges, the breast pocket has also been fitted for wear with a screwback badge, there are loops for one badge on the right breast pocket, garment was gently worn and is in mostly excellent condition, there is a small pick to the back of one cuff and a darned repair measuring 1cm in diameter to the right outer arm at the elbow, quite attractive example for a highly decorated senior officer, please inquire to info@virtualgrenadier.com for additional detailed photos, USD $2250 SOLD
