Waffen-SS officer's M40 overseas cap, service used example made of mid war quality ribbed trikot wool, having machine applied white wool piping along the turn up, lined in green rayon and with a partial dark brown leather sweatband, no marking noted but approximately size 56, insignia include Flemish made pattern woven SS national emblem and flatwire Totenkopf, both pieces are hand applied with black thread, cap with light wear and age toning with some sweat staining to the interior, cap is absent holes, repairs or other damage, USD $4475 SOLD
