VirtualGrenadier is a non-political informational and commercial web site devoted to documenting the appearance of the German soldier 1939-1945 through the use of period photographs, by showcasing examples from private collections, and by offering original examples for sale. The site is intended for use by researchers, archivists and collectors of historical military memorabilia. This site carries no affiliation whatsoever with any political ideology. RAK6 Set of field equipment for a Heer infantryman, includes black leather EM belt with buckle measuring 90cm from end to end, with field grey painted catch, having worn aluminum buckle with '36 dated leather tab, black leather combat style Y straps with black finished D rings, Zeltbahn with two black leather straps, Zeltbahn with all grommets and most dished buttons remaining, there are a couple of small holes, worn but matched 98k bayonet with black leather frog, having bakelite grips, scabbard with overall brownish finish and with pitting to the blade, late war bread bag with black leather fittings, with a mismatched pair of 98k cartridge pouches, one with RBNr and the other with manufacture information and '42 date, matched green painted aluminm mess kit with carrying strap and '39 dated water bottle with black painted aluminum cup, complete set for one price, USD $500 SOLD
