Heer M36 service blouse for a Leutnant in Panzergrenadier-Division Feldherrnhalle, standard issue M36 service blouse that was extensively reworked, the original issue stampings are in purple for a Munich-based maker, with size markings including chest size 114 and M.39 depot, there are two additional stamps Lago-Mü. with chest size 96, other alterations include addition of officer collar with two sets of hooks and eyes, addition of internal belt hook support straps, slight relocation of all pleated patch pockets plus addition of rayon ling components at each armpit and vertically along the inner sides, bandage pocket, collar liner and cuff buttons are horn, the lower collar liner buttons are pressed paper, teh full set of field grey painted pebbled steel buttons remain, the officer quality bullion collar patches are originally machine applied and have medium green Waffenfarbe, the sewn in shoulder boards have bases in the color ordinarily associated with Panzergrenadier, each board is very tightly sewn into the shoulder and each has a worn stamped gilted FHH shoulder board device held with angled flat prongs (prongs loose on right board), the high quality bullion national emblem is carefully hand sewn, the partial remains of the original national emblem stitching is located above the bullion national emblem, the left sleeve has a machine applied Feldherrnhalle sleeveband, this band is woven in non metallic thread on a brown band and is applied with olive and grey colored bobbin stitching, collar tabs and sleeveband show age commensurate with the garment while shoulder boards and national emblem appear fresher, there are original loops for a small ribbon bar and four breast badges, rear collar edge is a bit abraded and there are some holes to the lower collar, garment body is undamaged although there are a few thin lined areas on the rear lower skirt and lower right pocket of hard black residue much like a dry tar-like substance, very interesting, USD $3000 SOLD
