Named service blouse of Heer Ritterkreuzträger Major Erich Dienenthal, RK awarded 14 Dec. 1941 to Oberleutnant Dienenthal as commander of 2.(Radf.)/Div.Aufkl.Abt.45, Dienenthal was last commander of 5th Don Cossacks Regiment of von Pannwitz's Cossack cavalry corps, blouse was purchased by a dealer from the family's estate sale, originally tailored by a Potsdam firm in 1937 and with woven label, it is named to Dienenthal in the pocket and the rank was upgraded, the fashionably cut service blouse is made of ribbed trikot wool, has a dark green badge cloth covered stand and fall collar, four pleated patch pockets and turn back cuffs, it is lined in green rayon and has one internal pocket, provision for wear with a dagger and an internal waist belt with press snaps, the officer’s quality collar patches and the woven and the woven Don Cossack badge are machine sewn, the fine bullion national emblem is hand sewn, the Major rank shoulder boards with golden yellow underlay are sewn in, the EKII ribbon is sewn to the buttonhole, there are loops for three beast badges plus a long ribbon bar (reproduction ribbon bar included) and close combat clasp, blouse exhibits light service wear, there is minor moth damage under the tip of the wearer's right collar point plus there are two small tears at the rear belt line, in addition there are a few nicks to the fabric at the lower cuff edges, included are photocopies of Dienenthal’s Personalakten plus photocopies of his RK, EKI!, Nahkampfspange and Bandenkampfabzeichen award documents plus two photo reprints and a CD with additional files, please paste the URL below for more information about and another photo of this officer, USD $6500 SOLD
