VirtualGrenadier is a non-political informational and commercial web site devoted to documenting the appearance of the German soldier 1939-1945 through the use of period photographs, by showcasing examples from private collections, and by offering original examples for sale. The site is intended for use by researchers, archivists and collectors of historical military memorabilia. This site carries no affiliation whatsoever with any political ideology. Earlier style Kriegsmarine Coastal Artillery EM overseas cap, German made example in the Schiffchen pattern, constructed of field grey wool and lined in ribbed grey colored cotton, stamped in white ink size 54, with factory hand sewn woven national emblem and rosette on dark green, the golden yellow colored soutache is factory machine sewn, cap was service used and exhibits minor wear only, there are a couple of tiny moth nips to the left side, USD $425 SOLD
