Rare blue tropical Luftwaffe EM overseas cap, body constructed of blue colored ribbed cotton twill, lining of a softer and lighter weight grey colored ribbed cotton, stamped in black ink rectangles P.51 and size 55, having the classic 'Schiffchen' cut, the machine embroidered national emblem and padded rosette are hand sewn using blue grey colored cotton thread, the cap was service worn and shows light age, soiling and minor fading, cap body has not have any tears or repairs, much harder to find than the tan colored versions, USD $1600 SOLD
