Privately made named Waffenrock including belt for a Luftwaffe Truppensonderdienst officer with the rank of Major, having padded shoulders it is tailored from mid war quality blue grey colored trikot wool, with open collar, four pleated pockets and turn back cuffs, with woven Potsdam tailor label and July '42 dated name tag in the one inner pocket, lining of purplish ribbed rayon to include inner waist belt with clasp, setup for wear with sword or dagger, having high quality silver pebbled buttons, the matched pair of slip on shoulder boards have the gilt Aesculapius staff for a medical officer (which are improper) and are held into place with braided thread loops, the officer's quality collar patches are very neatly hand sewn and the collar is piped in twisted aluminum cord, the hand embroidered bullion national emblem on felt is had applied and one wing tip shows a bit of damage, at some point a badge was applied to the left breast pocket and there is some wear to the edges of right shoulder board, otherwise there is no damage and little sign of wear, the brown leather belt has a pebbled double claw buckle, measures 102cm in length and has its keeper, a portion of the belt has a cloth backing, it is undamaged and has no extra holes, nice set, please paste the URL below for discussion about this item, USD $1400 SOLD
