Clemens Wagner made Tellerform EM visored cap for a member of a Heer Schützen Regiment (later Panzergrenadier), pre war issue example constructed of field grey colored trikot wool, with lining of dark green wool and having wool piping, with black composite visor and black leather chinstrap which is a bit stiff and almost frozen into place, one black chinstrap button is loose from the cap body but is still affixed to the chinstrap, having aluminum wreath and national emblem with the eagle's prongs penetrating the lining, lining is of two different shades of oilcoth, one orange and the other tan, celluloid sweat diamond is absent, lining is stamped 10. Mai 1943, with full brown leather sweatband having seam on the side, reverse of sweatband stamped in black with maker information and 1938 date, sweatband has come loose at cap's front and both it and visor have been tacked back into place with a few well-placed threads (visor is still a bit loose), cap, band and piping are undamaged with the exception of a tiny hole .5mm in diameter to the right front upper body, cap spring is still in place, large size 58, USD $950 SOLD
