VirtualGrenadier is a non-political informational and commercial web site devoted to documenting the appearance of the German soldier 1939-1945 through the use of period photographs, by showcasing examples from private collections, and by offering original examples for sale. The site is intended for use by researchers, archivists and collectors of historical military memorabilia. This site carries no affiliation whatsoever with any political ideology. Any visitor to this site does so with the understanding that it is strictly for the purposes of historical collecting and research as stated above.

Service used Heer Keilhose, constructed of mid war quality German made wool, with interbal waistband and pocket bags of ribbed white cotton, fly and ankle cuffs with grey colored rayon, the complete and full length ankle tie tapes are also made of ribbed cotton, having two hip, one rear and a small watch buttoned pockets, there are tightening straps and buckles at each outer hip, having buttoning belt loops at the outer waist, with the exception of the top most (which is of civilian origin) the fly buttons are made of black finished wood, the remaining buttons are plain dished steel, the rear pocket button is also steel but with dimples along the perimeter, the blue stamped size and depot markings are too faint to read, the RBNr has been blacked out, trousers are lightly used and clean, the right outer hip area has a good bit of insect tracking and this is magnified by the camera's lens, USD $1200 SOLD
