Nice service used Heer EM M43 cap, textbook example in all respects, built of mid war quality field grey wool, with lining and side loops of flat grey colored cotton, stamped in black ink with RBNr, size 55 and M 44 date, the woven trapezoid shaped insignia is factory machine straight stitched in the 'zip and flip' style, the painted pebbled steel buttons have lost a bit of their paint, the cap is nicely age toned, the lining show wear from contact to the head, s small portion of the lining edge at the left temple was period tacked back into place, the inner brim stiffener is cracked from being folded, the woven rosette is a bit abraded, strong appearance, USD $850 SOLD
