Interesting service blouse for Heer Stabsfeldwebel of Gebirgsjäger-Regiment 136, garment was originally a Weffenrock but was re-tailored into a service blouse through the removal of the front closure piping, replacement of the decorated cuff bars with false turn back cuffs and the elimination of the tail decorations, additionally the four pleated patch pockets were added, Waffenrock was a stanrad manufactured example and is made of issue quality wool, the added pockets and replacement false cuffs are made of almost exactly matching issue wool, garment has olive colored ribbed rayon lining, with one internal pocket and with issues size stampings and M39 depot marking in black ink, the dark green badge cloth collar has two pairs of hooks an eyes, mounted second type universal collar patches were hand sewn to replace the removed dress style collar patches, the lower edge of the collar has machine applied field style NCO tresse, the Jäger green collar piping is still in place, the sewn in shoulder straps are made of dark green badge cloth material, have basket weave type rayon piping, machine sewn metallic NCO tresse plus three rank pips and the white metal numerals 136, to the right breast is hand sewn a flatwire national emblem on dark green felt, a machine embroidered Gebirgsjäger Edelweiss badge is hand applied to the right upper arm, blouse with eight button front and all buttons have been replaced with the field grey painted pebbled type, the rear belt hook support buttons are also the painted type, with EKII ribbon and loops for one badge, whole garment with light age only, there are a couple of pinhead sized holes to the base of the left collar patch's base, no other damage is noted, perhaps the very best conversion of this type we have observed, USD $1350 SOLD
