Modified Heer tropical service straight legged trousers, made of olive colored cotton twill, lined at the inner waist and with pocket bags of flat white cotton, faintly stamped in black ink with sizes and partial RBNr, the internal belt is made of the same twill, the steel buckle retains much of its olive painted finish, with two hip pockets, watch pocket and one buttoned rear pocket, all steel dish buttons remain and are originally sewn, the lower legs were modified to be tapered and black cotton tapes added at the leg ends, this alteration was expertly performed and the sewing is especially neat, internally the fabric edges are serged in black thread and the tie holes at the leg ends were completed with both black and olive colored threads, condition is very good with just a few faint stains, an interesting alteration made in conformance with later war trends of wear, USD $900
