Heer M44 service blouse for a Leutnant in Panzergrenadier-Division Feldherrnhalle, unique example made from dense, heavy quality Heer tropical overcoat material, having large open collar with buttoning tab underneath, five button front closure, two external breast patch pockets, separate waistband and adjustable sleeve ends, internally the garment is lined in and has belt hook support straps of a soft, flat grey colored fabric of the type often seen used with Heer wraps as well as SS uniforms and headgear, there are two internal breast pockets closed with pressed paper buttons, the inner cuffs are lined in the same material and have the same kind of pressed paper button, the belt hook support straps are reinforced with olive colored web material, the lining panel is stamped in black ink with sizes, M44 depot and RBNr, the subdued pattern woven insignia is factory sewn, the litzen collar patches are machine zig zag stitched at an extreme angle roughly conforming to the sharply angled collar, the standard woven style national emblem is machine straight stitched in the form of a triangle through the lining, the upper edge of the outer breast pocket flap is sewn over the lower tip of the triangle, garment has unaltered slip on shoulder strap bridles and a pair of Leutnant shoulder boards having Wiesengrün Waffenfarbe are applied (paste the URL below for one discussion of white and green branch of service colors as potentially used by FHH personnel), each shoulder board has the stamped gilt finished FHH device affixed with flat prongs, the white on brown woven political style Feldherrnhalle sleeve band is straight machined to the lower left cuff with brown thread and with the bobbin thread being black, in excellent lightly worn condition, there is a small darned repair to the upper central back but it is not particularly noticeable, striking, USD $3650 SOLD
