Ultra rare published M33 service blouse for a Heer Pionier EM, the forerunner of the later famous M36, this pattern includes many features found in that model, collar with brass hook and eye, five button front closure, four pleated patch pockets, adjustable cuffs, slip on shoulder straps and internal bandage pocket, this example is made of high quality issue field grey wool and has a plain collar without dark green badge cloth, the minimal lining components are of ribbed cotton, there are waist tightening tunnels with tapes of grey colored HBT, the two inner belt hook support straps are positioned at either waist (two belt hooks are included), the bandage pocket is without a button and is still sewn in the closed position, the complete set of matte pebbled metal buttons are originally sewn, smaller versions are used for the shoulder straps, the collar liner and cuff buttons are of grey colored glass and all remain, the originally applied insignia includes mounted litzen bars with black Waffenfarbe, the first type woven white on light grey national emblem is hand applied, the matching slip on Feldbluse type shoulder straps are made of identical field grey wool and each has a machine chain stitch embroidered numeral 6, garment is well marked with stampings in black ink having sizes and depot B34, the bandage pocket is stamped with the Berlin maker's information, condition is immaculate and the blouse seems to have been worn little if at all, no flaws, this is the only unaltered example of the type of which we are aware and it is featured in the book Feldbluse: The German Army Field Tunic by Jean-Phillipe Borg, USD $7750 SOLD
