Handsome tailored reefer jacket for a Kriegsmarine Technical Official with the rank of Korvettenkapitän, double breasted and with open collar, constructed of dark blue ribbed trikot wool, lined in black rayon and with two internal pockets, having a double row of Assmann marked silvered anchor buttons, the hand embroidered national emblem is rendered in silver wires on a dark blue wool backing, it is hand applied, each sleeve has three silver metallic rings of matching diameter machine sewn with the ends tucked into the sleeve seams, hand embroidered specialty patches for the highest rank of technical officials are hand sewn to each sleeve above the rings, these patches are hand embroidered in silver wires, all insignia plus sleeve rings and even the buttons have taken on a bit of a goldish hue, there are loops for a ribbon bar and a pair of breast badges, there is another single loop applied to the left outer chest area, garment displays light service use and is a bit dusty, a small section of the left rear skirt and lining in the same area is abraded, there are no other holes or damage, presents and elegant appearance, USD $2300 NEW PRICE
