VirtualGrenadier is a non-political informational and commercial web site devoted to documenting the appearance of the German soldier 1939-1945 through the use of period photographs, by showcasing examples from private collections, and by offering original examples for sale. The site is intended for use by researchers, archivists and collectors of historical military memorabilia. This site carries no affiliation whatsoever with any political ideology. Kriegsmarine tropical shorts, possibly unissued pair constructed of slightly different shades ribbed tan colored cotton twill, having pocket bags of the same fabric, the inner waistband is stamped in black ink with sizes, maker information and '42 date, there is a patched watch pocket, each of the two hip and the one rear pockets have tan colored composite buttons, buttons at fly and inner waistband are of dished steel, all buttons are present and originally sewn, there are tightening straps with brown painted claw buckles at the hips and belt loops at the outer waistband, factory hems are intact, in perfect unused condition, USD $350 SOLD
