VirtualGrenadier is a non-political informational and commercial web site devoted to documenting the appearance of the German soldier 1939-1945 through the use of period photographs, by showcasing examples from private collections, and by offering original examples for sale. The site is intended for use by researchers, archivists and collectors of historical military memorabilia. This site carries no affiliation whatsoever with any political ideology. Set of items relating to the SS Volunteer Sturmbrigade Wallonien, the Tcherkassy battle and Leon Degrelle, there are four pieces - sleeveband, Rexist badge, Signal magazine and map of the Tcherkassy region, first is the rarely encountered woven sleeveband for the 28. SS-Freiwilligen- Grenadier-Division Wallonien, being 41cm in length and having unfinished ends, in mint unissued condition; second is the Belgian Walloom Rexist Honor Badge with original box, the badge is silver and has the Walloon Burgundy Cross with a vertically positioned sword pointing upwards, the upper perimeter has the legend "Bravoure, Honneur, Fidelite",the reverse has a hollowed out appearance and a simple hinged pin with a C hook, badge shows wear and age tarnishing, it is enclosed in a two piece, circular box measuring 6cm in diameter, the manufacture's data is printed on the lid; third is a French language issue of Signal magazine, number 5 from 1944, it is complete, has color pages and features RKT Degrelle on the cover is SS uniform; finally is the paper OKH Deutsche Heereskarte for Tcherkassy, it has been rolled and measures 65x50cm, fantastic set of items relating to the titanic struggle in the east, USD $6950 NO LONGER AVAILABLE
