VirtualGrenadier is a non-political informational and commercial web site devoted to documenting the appearance of the German soldier 1939-1945 through the use of period photographs, by showcasing examples from private collections, and by offering original examples for sale. The site is intended for use by researchers, archivists and collectors of historical military memorabilia. This site carries no affiliation whatsoever with any political ideology. Near perfect unissued Heer tropical shorts, inner ribbed white cotton waistband is stamped in black ink with sizes and E.42 depot, the additional stamp Hohlfeld is, presumably, the maker, cotton bags and fly facing are of the same ribbed white cotton, there is a small watch pocket, two slash hip pockets and one rear buttoned pocket, all buttons are dished steel and all are still present and originally sewn, shorts are made of olive colored cotton twill, there is a webbed belt with a steel three claw buckle painted in a deep tan color, legs have deep hems, unaltered and in unused condition, USD $285 NEW PRICE
