VirtualGrenadier is a non-political informational and commercial web site devoted to documenting the appearance of the German soldier 1939-1945 through the use of period photographs, by showcasing examples from private collections, and by offering original examples for sale. The site is intended for use by researchers, archivists and collectors of historical military memorabilia. This site carries no affiliation whatsoever with any political ideology. Privately tailored service blouse for a Heer Infanterie Feldwebel and member of Wachbatallion Berlin, custom garment made for best use, constructed of thick ribbed tricot wool, with stand and fall collar having two hooks and eyes and covered with dark green badge cloth, having a six button front and four pleated patch pockets, with turn back cuffs, with field grey painted pebbled buttons to include smaller shoulder board buttons, there is a civilian snap to hold lapel firmly closed, lining is green rayon, there is one internal breast pocket and provision for suspending a dagger or sword through the lining at the lower left pocket, Infanterie piped mounted listen collar patches are machine applied, metallic NCO tresse is neatly hand sewn, the shoulder straps, of felt materials and with felt piping are cleanly applied to the shoulder seams, each strap has machine applied metallic NCO tresse, plus a silvered rank pip and gothic W indicating membership in Wachbatallion Berlin, each W cypher is held with two prongs, the left cypher's lower prong is loose but still present, there is a small button under the right shoulder strap for anchoring a marksmanship lanyard, the national emblem is of high quality being hand embroidered in aluminum wires on a dark green wool base, it is hand sewn to the breast, there are original loops for a ribbon bar and two breast badges, blouse exhibits light age, there are a couple of tiny picks to the fabric and a small abraded spot at lower front center skirt, USD $2650 NEW PRICE
