Set of four award documents to a member of Heer Panzer-Regiment 5 for service in Afrika, all awards were made when subject had the rank of Gefreiter, first is EKII document dated 30 Nov. 1941, with typed entries, it is signed in pencil by Generalmajor and Divisional Commander Georg von Bismarck, this document has been folded and has the black marking from a paper clip along its upper edge; second is the document for the Panzer Assault Badge in Silver, in black pen, dated 24 Feb. 1942 and signed by Generalmajor and Divisional Commander Heinz von Randow, this document too has ben folded and has the impression from paper clips, third is the document for the Black Wound Badge, typed and awarded 12 June 1942, it is signed by a Hauptmann u. Abt.Führer RKT Werner Grun, this document was also folded and has paper clip impressions to the reverse, the fourth is not actually an award document but notification of award of the Italienische Kriegskreuz für Tapferkeit to subject's parents in Kiel with the note dated 2 January 1943, the document was typed and is signed in pencil by a Feldwebel, it too has the paperclip impression, superb grouping, USD $985 SOLD
