VirtualGrenadier is a non-political informational and commercial web site devoted to documenting the appearance of the German soldier 1939-1945 through the use of period photographs, by showcasing examples from private collections, and by offering original examples for sale. The site is intended for use by researchers, archivists and collectors of historical military memorabilia. This site carries no affiliation whatsoever with any political ideology. Any visitor to this site does so with the understanding that it is strictly for the purposes of historical collecting and research as stated above.

Uniform set for Deutsche Reichsbahn official, ensemble consists of service tunic made of dark blue black twill fabric lined in black, with two internal pockets and four external pleated patch pockets, with pebbled gold buttons throughout including two rear belt support buttons, collar tabs are machine applied, with sew in shoulder boards and woven RBD Stuttgart insignia hand sewn to left sleeve, all insignia seems period applied, condition is excellent with only light soling at the neck line, otherwise no damage noted, accompanying overcoat of the same rank is made of a fine quality dark blue black wool, lined in black and has one large internal pocket and two slash waist pockets, edge of collar and cuff edges are piped in red wool, at the collar is a fastening device allowing the coat to be worn as a cloak, pebbled gilt buttons including three on the reverse external belt, show light wear only and no damage, the initial A is chain stitched into the lining at the neck, further included are two unissued pairs of RBD trousers with paper issue tags, each is made of black wool and both are lined in white cotton, neither appear to be marked apart from the issue paper tags, the front pockets of each are still tacked in the close position, one set of trousers is missing the external rear tightening buckle, note: this group is as found but per regulations, the collar tabs should each have swastika badge (neither tab shows trace of former insignia) and the overcoat should not have red piping to be correct for wear during the NS period, please inquire at info@virtualgrenadier.com for additional information and detailed photos, set USD $1650 SOLD
